Be wary of other insects, like spiders, cockroaches, beetles, and more. Termites can be particularly harmful since an infestation can cause thousands of dollars of damage.

You never know what you might find. Sometimes small rodents can even be found living in a more dilapidated property. The worst issues are the ones that lurk unseen under the surface for years. The key is to get multiple opinions from multiple inspectors and to be extra-thorough.
